We will pick you up at 7 am to start the drive to Alexandria (about 3 hours) by a private, modern a/c van. Stop At: Bibliotheca Alexandrina The Bibliotheque Alexandrina (English: Library of Alexandria); Egyptian Arabic: مكتبة الإسكندرية Maktabat Al-Iskandarīyah in Egyptian Arabic, due to a fire caused by Julius Cesar. The fire that destroyed the antique library was said to have created an incalculable loss for humanity. To recover the past glory of this antique center of studies, a committee was set up, and construction began in 1995, with an approximate cost of $220 million. The restoration is a commemoration of the treasure that was lost in the fire in antiquity.

The Pillar is a Roman architectural wonder situated in Alexandria, Egypt. The structure is the largest of its type, built outside the imperial capitals of Rome and Constantinople; it was part of a complex built to honor the God Serapis, located at the Serapeum of Alexandria. Pompei's pillar has a total height of 28 meters and a base diameter of 2.7 meters. An inscription on the post reads: To the most just Emperor in honor of Alexandria Diocletian, the invincible, who built this monument.

Stop At: Fort Qaitbey The Citadel of Qaitbay Arabic: قلعة قايتباي) is a 15th-century defensive fortress located on the Mediterranean Sea coast in Alexandria, Egypt. It was established in 1477 AD (882 AH) by Sultan Al-Ashraf Sayf al-Din Qa'it Bay. The Citadel is situated on the eastern side of the northern tip of Pharos Island at the mouth of the Eastern Harbour.

ABU AL ABBAS MURSI MOSQUE
