9 Days Tour Cairo to Aswan

This is the perfect itinerary designed for travelers who only have a short time to enjoy all the beauty Egypt offers. This includes the Pyramids of Giza, the Egyptian Museum, and the main highlights of Cairo and Aswan.

Our staff will pick you up at the airport or hotel to start your day tour. Cairo is the busy of Egypt, and the largest city in Africa lies on the Nile River. At its heart are Tahrir Square and the vast Egyptian Museum, a myriad of antiquities, including royal mummies and gilded King Tutankhamun artifacts. It's said that spending one hour at every exhibition will take four months to complete the Egyptian.

Not too far, we encounter Giza, the site of the iconic postal of Egypt pyramids and the Great Sphinx, guarding the structures from the 26th century BC. Next, explore Coptic Cairo, its Mosques and Synagogue, and Khan El Khalili, the oldest bazaar in Cairo. Egypt has enchanted many since the rise of civilizations and possesses an enduring appeal.

Cairo to Aswan 8 Days Tour is an active tour covering many of Egypt's highlights. Expect some time sitting and walking in some touring areas and early starts. The pace is moderate. However, you will encounter uneven surfaces, stairs, steps, and significant slopes.

Traffic congestion is widespread in Egypt, especially in Cairo. All Transportation will be by an A/C Van or bus, according to the size of the group, and will require a certain degree of agility to embark and disembark.

Today, after the Pyramids Tour and some sites in Cairo, you will be taking the sleeper train to Aswan. The overnight train offers comfortable, air-conditioned two-berth cabins with bedding provided by the porter. Each carriage is equipped with Western-style toilets, but it's advisable to bring extra toilet paper. Please note that the overall cleanliness of the train may vary from what you're accustomed to.

The inclusive dinner and breakfast are provided on board; however, consider bringing additional items, especially if you're a vegetarian, as the feed is typically meat-based. In rare instances, you may share a cabin with a solo traveler of the same gender who is not part of your group.

Anchors weigh in early this morning when your delightful Nile Felucca will bring you towards Luxor, the city of palaces. This metropolis of ancient Egypt is a site of Pharaonic royalty for you to meet upon visiting the royal cemetery on the west bank of Luxor.

The amazing Valley of the Kings 62 Pharaos lay buried in elaborately decorated tombs, the principal burial place of prominent royal figures of Egypt's New Kingdom for over 500 years.

One of those figures was Queen Hatshepsut, whose mortuary temple is close to the Valley. Here, you can follow the footprints of this influential ruler of her time in the 15th century BC, considered the first known great woman in history.

If you aren't too shocked by now, you may be after the next royal highlight, the two massive testimonial stone statues known as the Colossi of Memnon. After all these awe-inspiring encounters, you will resort back to your beloved cruise to digest those memorable impressions and the quality meals you have now known and loved.
