Departure from Fes is scheduled for 08:00 a.m., with your knowledgeable driver/guide picking you up in a comfortable air-conditioned car. The journey begins with a visit to Ifrane, known as the "Switzerland of Morocco." Noteworthy fact: Ifrane features houses with sloping roofs, a rarity in Morocco. Moving through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stop at the cedar forest near Azrou to observe Barbary apes.
