Following breakfast, embark on an exploration of Casablanca. Begin with a tour of the Hassan II Mosque, a rare religious site open to non-Muslims and capable of accommodating 25,000 worshippers—subsequently, journey to the capital city of Rabat, where you'll meet a knowledgeable local guide. Rabat's history is extensive and colorful, hosting a former site of Roman settlements, pirates, and, more recently, the Moroccan parliament. The city boasts a wealth of Arab monuments, some dating back to the 10th to 15th century Almohad and Merenid dynasties and others with even earlier origins. Traverse the city's medina and souks, then explore the charming walled quarter known as the Kasbah des Oudaias, where you can savor a glass of mint tea and indulge in local sweets.
Following this, continue your stroll to visit Mohamed the 5th Mausoleum and the expansive minaret of the Hassan Mosque. Enjoy some free time to explore Rabat before driving to Meknes, the former capital of Morocco, where you'll spend the night.
